Loading and discharging container process is loading and discharging goods or container on the freighter. The activity will efficient when the company have capable to decrease the factor of loading and discharging container process delay. The research is qualitative study and held on PT Pelabuhan IV (Persero) Bitung Container terminar for three months. The result will be used full for PT Pelabuhan (Persero) to increase the efficiency and effectiveness on loading and discharging container process.

This study aims to determine the maintenance process of harbor mobile cranes and hoppers can work optimally in loading and unloading services at PT. Pelindo IV (Persero) Makassar Branch, the factors that cause harbor mobile cranes and hoppers to not work optimally in loading and unloading services at PT. Pelindo IV (Persero) Makassar Branch and efforts to suppress the factors causing the loading and unloading of harbor mobile cranes and hoppers to work less than optimally in loading and unloading services at PT. Pelindo IV (Persero) Makassar Branch. The method used in this research is based on the theory that is obtained in college or obtained through own experience when doing land practice while the data collection method is field research and literature, the type of data is qualitative data and the data sources used are primary and secondary data. . The results have been obtained, namely the maintenance of loading and unloading equipment for harbor mobile cranes is divided into 2, namely routine maintenance and periodic maintenance. also because the condition of the equipment is seen from the age so that there have been damage to some of the loading and unloading equipment, and it is not optimal and the efforts made are efforts to provide skills training to crane operators and routine maintenance of unloading equipment, so that these obstacles can be minimized.

This study aims to determine the procedures for handling hazardous cargo at the Class IV Tolitoli port. As well as knowing the types of dangerous cargo itself and the facilities used in handling dangerous cargo by focusing on the role of the port authority and port authority of class IV Tolitoli in order to improve safety when loading and unloading dangerous goods by applying the regulations of the minister of transportation on organization and governance. Class IV Tolitoli harbor and port authority office work. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. And the data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis method. From the research conducted, it is found that in handling dangerous cargo, all information on dangerous cargo must be known, looking at the condition or quality of the packaging and the completeness of the dangerous cargo label. And at the Tolitoli port, the types of hazardous cargoes are coconut, coconut shell charcoal, coconut copra and cloves. Then in storing dangerous cargo, the warehouse conditions are clean and complete with personal protective equipment, in the accumulation of dangerous cargo, the types and groups must be equalized, they must not be mixed and must not exceed the accumulation limit in the warehouse, and provide signs regarding dangerous goods and first aid kits.

PROSEDUR STUFFING DAN STRIPPING KONTAINER DI PT. TANTO INTIM LINE MAKASSAR

The study aims to know the procedure of container stuffing and stripping on one of shipping company in Makassar. This qualitative study get data through several methods such as observation, interview, documentation, study literature, and internet source. The study is conducted for three months at PT Tanto Intim Line Makassar. The result of the research indicates the continer stuffing and stripping procedure, documents used at the company, and the obstacle of container stuffing and stripping process at PT Tanto Intime Line Makassar. These study result support the shipping company to identify the obstacle factors and know how to overcome the obstacle on container stuffing and stripping process.

PENYEBAB NOZZLE BOCOR PADA MESIN DIESEL DI KAPAL MT. NURHASANAH LIMA

This study aims to determine the cause of the leaking nozzle on the diesel engine and the consequences caused by the object of research on the ship MT.NURHASANAH LIMA. Identifying leaks is done by testing manually by inflating the tester that has been installed on the fuel pipe tightly and pumping the lever until it reaches the normal point of fogging. After reaching the normal point, close the valve on the fuel, wait for a while and if the pressure in the manometer decreases, the injector has a leak. Then if there is a leak, the injector is measured and retested until there is no leakage. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and literature study and data analysis techniques used are qualitative descriptive analysis methods. From the research conducted, it was found that the nozzle leak in the diesel engine was caused by the presence of fine dirt that clogs the nozzle needle. This fine dirt in the form of dust or sand that clumps in the nozzle and sticks to it which makes the nozzle leak so that the result is also wear and tear on the nozzle.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untu etahui operasional dan pemasaran PT. Sarana Bandar Nasional Cabang Makassar, untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan kerja di PT. Sarana Bandar Nasional Cabang Makassar dan Untuk mengetahui Sumber Daya Manusia dilingkungan perusahaan PT. Sarana Bandar Nasional Cabang Makassar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di perusahaan PT. Sarana Bandar Nasional Cabang Makassar yang beralamat di Jl. Sawerigading No. 14 waktu penelitian di laksanakan pada Pertengahan bulan maret sampai pada bulan juni Sumber data yang di peroleh penulis adalah sumber dari beberapa referensi dan literatur serta penilitian lapangan yang berbagi interview dan observasi metode penelitian yang di gunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dan informasi sebagai bahan acuan penulisan jurnal penelitian tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Operasional dan Pemasaran PT. Sarana Bandar Nasiona Cabang Makassar yaitu Merekap Catatan Shipping, Menjual produk PT SBN (menerima order dan booking muatan), Merekap muatan container dan Mengecek Shipping Intruction. Perusahaan mampu berkembang bila memiliki fungsi manajemen perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penempatan tugas, pengarahan, pengawasan fungsi ini yang akan menunjang kemajuaan perusahaan. Dalam pengembangan dan pelaksanaan kegiatan dilingkungan PT. Sarana Bandar Nasional Cabang Makassar sebagai ujung tombak adalah bagaimana penataan dan penempatan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) yang handal dan profesional merupakan salah satu elemen terpenting yang akan memutar roda perusahan terus berjalan.

Improving the Quality of Human Resources through Training and Work Experience on Service Quality

Indonesia is a developing country that certainly requires quality human resources (HR) to provide sufficient performance power for the development of the country's development. This research design is qualitative; the research was conducted in Makassar City, South Sulawesi Province. This research lasted for four months, from July to October 2022. The study's participants were 25 people, and data analysis using theory from Miles and Huberman. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the variables of training and work experience have a direct and indirect effect on improving the quality of human resources and service quality, so the existence of training and work experience variables needs to be maintained, especially in improving the quality of human resources and service quality. Training and work experience can be a reference for leaders in government agencies in making organizational policies related to improving the quality of human resources and service quality.

Pengaruh Pelatihan dan Pengembangan Karir terhadap Kinerja Karyawan PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk. Cabang Makassar

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelatihan dan pengembangan SDM secara simultan dan parsial terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk. Cabang Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian asosiatif dimana populasi dan sampel penelitian adalah seluruh karyawan di pada PT Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk. Cabang Makassar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji R square, Uji f dan uji t pada taraf signifikan (taraf kepercayaan) alpha 0.05. Uji hipotesis menunjukkan hasil pengaruh pelatihan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai t sebesar 6,616 pada taraf signifikan sebesar 0,001, pengaruh pengembangan karir terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan nilai t sebesar 4,438 pada taraf signifikan 0,002. Dengan demikian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan pelatihan dan pengembangan karir secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk. Cabang Makassar. pelatihan secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk. Cabang Makassar. Pengembangan karir secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.

PERAN KANTOR SYAHBANDAR SEBAGAI UNIT PENYELENGGARA PELABUHAN KELAS II REO NUSA TENGGARA TIMUR DALAM UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KESELAMATAN PELAYARAN

Penelitian berujuan untuk mengetahui peran Syahbandar sebagai Unit penyelenggara pelabuhan dalam meningkatkan keselamatan pelayaran, tanggung Jawab Syahbandar dalam keselamatan pelayaran dan Realisasi Kunjungan kapal dalam 3 tahun terakhir. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah : observasi, Wawancara / interview, angket dan studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Peran Syahbandar dalam keselamatan pelayaran sangat penting karena tugas fungsi dan wewenangnya sangat strategis.Pentingnya tugas Syahbandar disuatu pelabuhan untuk menunjang tertibnya administrasi pelayaran dan keselamatan pelayaran, maka tugas tersebut harus didukung oleh sumber daya manusia yang mempunyai disiplin dan kecakapan dibidang laut Peralatan yang menunjang juga sangat dibutuhkan agar tugas dan fungsi dari syahbandar dapat maksimal. Diperlukan peningkatan kompetensi dari petugas atau pegawai pelabuhan sehingga dapat meningkatkan perannya dalam menunjang keselamatan pelayaran. Tanggung jawab syahbandar sangatlah penting karena keamanan dan keselamatan pelayaran adalah sudah menjadi tugasnya. Tindakan-tindakan yang di lakukannya adalah/agar untuk meningkatkan pengawasan keamanan dan keselamatan terhadap hal-hal yang berhubungan dengan pelayaran. Tugas pengawasan yang di lakukan seorang syahbandar dalam rangka pengaturan sarana dan prasarana pelaksanaan operasional transportasi laut sangatlah penting. Seorang syah Bandar dalam tugasnya harus juga memastikan kesadaran para pemkai jasa transportasi laut seperti perusahaan, pemilik kapal, awak kapal untuk mentaati hukum dan ketentuan perundang-undangan yang berlaku di bidang keselamatan pelayaran yang pada umumnya masih rendah.

ONE-STOP SERVICE POLICY AS A BUREAUCRATIC REFORM IN INDONESIA

Bureaucratic reform is an effort to improve the system of government administration, especially institutional aspects, management, and human resources of the apparatus. One of the bureaucratic reforms in Indonesia is the establishment of the One-Stop Service (OSS) office which handles and integrates all forms of licensing. This article examined how the implementation of public service reform and how the change of management practices had been implemented in the OSS of Bone Regency. Data were collected through a semi-structured interview with 16 of OSS’ employees and nine service-users. This study applied a qualitative approach using a case study design. Techniques of data collection used three kinds of instrument, namely: in-depth interviews, observation, and office document. Data were analyzed through some phases of data reduction, presentation, and conclusions and verification. The results found that many obstacles still faced by the government during the implementation in the OSS, they are the lack of human resources and the technical staff, the fact that these staff is working at their original offices/agencies, not in the OSS. Another obstacle found that there are problems with various institutional statuses with different implications. The socialization model carried out by the OSS is considered to be less effective. Through this research, the researchers did verification of the local wisdom as one of the characteristics of the society that justified to this research, which called “Assimellereng”.
